It was heartening to me this past week to find prospective students and their parents touring the Fairbanks campus, led capably by our passionate staff and ambassadors. There is no doubt in my mind that they chose wisely, and I thank you, faculty and staff alike, for your dedication to our students.

Earlier in the week I found the UA Museum buzzing with visitors from all over the world. While the galleries show visitors Alaska鈥檚 natural history, art and culture, researchers below decks are making our museum a research enterprise that universities around the world look to for answers. Summer is a time that our researchers are in the lab and field, innovating, solving, designing and, most importantly, learning and teaching. Although I am not new to 六合彩网上投注app, I plan to spend the next few months visiting with each of our units so that as we think about how to address our challenges ahead, I will know you and you will know me.
